Abrachan Triple Oak Matured Blended Malt

Initially, bold spicy notes surface, reminiscent of a blend of black, red, and white peppercorns. Pronounced salinity is also evident, alongside whispers of smoky peat, blackberry, and a subtle hint of vanilla. The taste mirrors the aroma, with the peaty, smoky elements becoming more prominent. The spirit has a rough edge, yet it's respectable considering the price. While Clydesdale is a Lowland distillery, this whisky presents a challenging drinking experience.

Pleasantly surprising. A potent spice accompanies vanilla and sea salt. Hints of dark chocolate emerge, along with subtle peat and smoke. A touch sharp and unrefined. Acceptable for its cost.

Rich in sherry and subtle wood flavors, with bourbon notes present as well. Very sweet, perhaps too much so, and lacks distinctiveness but is quite good for the price.

For the price, it's well-executed. A nice blend.
