Upon first taste, there's a notable spice. After a pause, oak emerges, transitioning to vanilla as the spirit finishes. This is a fantastic pour for sipping neat or over ice. I doubt it's suited for many cocktails; it's delightful on its own.
An elegant Rum from Barbados that has an aromatic beginning with hints of sugarcane, wood, herbs & spices; while a rich middle adds notes of caramel & vanilla; leading to a balanced conclusion of medium length. June 2016 / 2017
