This was part of a tasting featuring three bottles from a brand originating from an Oaxacan restaurant. I found it enjoyable, with a pleasant mineral/earthy profile that brought back memories of mezcals enjoyed previously. I categorized this and two other bottles from the same brand under "Agave/Other" rather than Mezcal, as the company intentionally avoids the mezcal designation. They source their spirits around Oaxaca but do not adhere to the official mezcal production standards.
