This showcases the pride of Texas, and the flavors confirm it. A very fine bourbon, demonstrating small-batch production. This is a quality bourbon achievable only by a micro-distillery. Watch out Colorado, Texas is entering the competition. Two of my preferred states for whiskey.

The aroma was reminiscent of a classic bourbon, leading me to expect a solid experience, but it was incredibly harsh on the palate, to the point I didn't wish to finish it. It's also quite deceptive, claiming to be a Texas whiskey while being sourced. I will not purchase it again.

As someone from Texas, this bourbon is an embarrassment. A store employee suggested it as a "great bourbon" for the cost. I'm very let down. I'll keep it for friends who are too drunk to tell quality spirits apart.

Brett Duenas 2.0

The packaging is the best feature of this bourbon. It's underwhelming. A 2.5 out of 5 at best. Not worth the $25-$30 price. For $15, it might be a solid pick. I'd suggest Buffalo Trace to anyone looking at this.

I find it hard to believe this is above 90 proof; it seems too diluted. Unremarkable and lacking body. It doesn't compare to genuine bourbon. I'm from Texas and embarrassed our state's name is on this bottle.

It was okay, not fantastic. Ended up being used for cooking. The label claims it's produced in Texas, which is false. I won't purchase it again for that reason.
