Only 1,000 cases were made, and it was only sold in Wyoming (2018). A 90 proof straight bourbon whiskey aged for 5 years. This whiskey is named after the famous bucking horse (1896-1914). Nose: Corn, ethanol, vanilla, oak. Palate: Candy Corn, vanilla, caramel, and a little mint. Finish: Short and sweet, corn and butterscotch. While I wouldn't suggest this to anyone, it felt right to have a bottle of this while I'm here in Wyoming this week for the 123rd Cheyenne Frontier Days. It’s sweeter than your typical bourbon and has no oak on the palate or finish. The sweetness has a corn and caramel flavor, but it also has a strange "chemical corn syrup sweetness" aspect that appears artificial, though we know it can't be since this is labeled as straight bourbon. Still, it's interesting.
