The Woodford Reserve Toasted Oak Oat Grain, a limited edition from the brand's Distillery Series, was introduced in June 2022. It is derived from fully matured Woodford Reserve Oat Grain Bourbon, which incorporates oats into its mash bill. This matured bourbon then undergoes a finishing process in new, intensely toasted oak barrels. It is bottled at the company's typical 90.4 proof and offered in 375ml containers at the Woodford Reserve Distillery shop in Versailles, Kentucky, as well as at select Kentucky retailers for a restricted period.

NOSE Wood smoke, burnt toast, cacao, mace, black cherry, cassia, caramel candy, and a hint of licorice. Really quite pleasant PALATE Tight wood, smoke, bitter chocolate, dried plum, spice, cherry cola candy, grain. Dry, rough, slightly metallic, FINISH Moderate length, with notes of wood, smoke, chocolate, and berry.
Consistently smooth and fruity, with hints of vanilla and chocolate. An excellent and easy-to-enjoy spirit.
Quite distinctive, with an initial cooling mint, followed by delicate coconut and oak notes; exceptionally smooth.
Toasted chocolate Cheerios with a smooth honey oat finish. Well-balanced and complex.
Smooth with notes of chocolate and caramel. A subtle spice appears at the finish.
