About this bottle

Part of the semi-experimental Woodford Reserve Master's Collection, the Maple Wood Finish expression appeared in 2010. This bourbon underwent triple distillation and a double barreling process. It spent its initial seven years in new, charred American oak containers before receiving a finish in toasted maple wood casks. It is bottled at 47.2% ABV and carries no age statement.

From the Drammers club online pour. Outstanding, among the best of the evening, even competing with a Masters Collection Seasoned Oak and a Woodford Reserve Baccarat finished in cognac casks. Nose: Maple syrup, caramel, chocolate, cinnamon, oak, cherry, apple, pineapple, banana bread, cloves, spearmint, dill, soil, nutmeg, nougat, peach Palate: Maple syrup, caramel, pepper, cinnamon, banana bread, citrus, cherry, chocolate, raisins, cloves, tree bark Finish: Maple syrup, cinnamon, pepper, caramel, walnuts, cherry, vanilla, chocolate
