Review #312 Served in a Glencairn glass, allowed to rest 15 minutes. Color: Dark amber. Nose: Notes of dark fruit, caramel, and sweet honey. Palate: Flavors of cinnamon, clove, and some oak tannins. Finish: Lasts a long time with moderate warmth. With a splash: Clove and oak notes become more pronounced. Overall: 9/10 - This expression offers a nice enhancement to the standard Double Oaked version. The complexity of the nose and palate is hard to describe. Even at a relatively low proof, this is a very tasty dram.
