Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, a family-owned independent company, issued this bourbon. The company also owns the Willett Distillery, which resumed operations in 2012, and numerous other whiskey labels. This is a single barrel bottling of a Kentucky straight bourbon, presented at barrel strength. The age and proof are shown on each label, along with the barrel number.

Astonishing quality. This is exceptional if you can locate it. The finish is incredibly prolonged, and the complexity is difficult to articulate. Notes of mint, unparalleled butterscotch, baking spices, and remarkable smoothness combined with full flavor and complexity. My current top bourbon choice, I wish more were available.
