I have a weakness for uncommon spirits. Approximately 14,000 bottles were distributed in the US? I'll sample a generous serving for under $25 given its scarcity. It was worthwhile to experience, though I likely won't repurchase it if encountered again. I question if the scarcity influences others' evaluations. There's little explanation for why people enjoyed it. Could buyer's regret be a factor, preventing a low rating for a costly acquisition? I'm not an expert and am more likely to state if I enjoy something or not. Nevertheless, here are my observations: The aroma is quite pleasant, featuring caramel and hints of leather. However, the taste was underwhelming. It's rather delicate with minimal finish. Even at 101 proof, the warmth was barely noticeable. During tasting, I detected some pepper when swirling it in my mouth, followed by subtle rye notes at the conclusion. It's not sweet, but there might have been a faint suggestion of caramel initially in the flavor profile. I believe I would be equally satisfied with the 101 proof, which I appreciate for its affordability. Overall, it's an acceptable drink, but its high ratings seem solely due to its rarity. I'd give the flavor a 3 and the rarity a 4+. It's likely not a good value if your primary interest is taste.

The aroma of this bourbon is everything you'd desire – it's clean, fragrant, with notes of orange, not overwhelming from astringency/ethanol, opens up well and is full of color. It's warm, evoking a fruitcake fresh from the oven; warm pastry. The taste is smooth, gently coating the mouth with barely any burn. It has a slight hint of sawdust, as if mixed with warm butter and brown sugar. This must be the finest Wild Turkey I've ever had. I could drink this daily and be content.

Found this at a countryside tavern; they didn't realize they had a rare find. Truly exceptional—a decadent, smooth aroma; a powerful, viscous, toffee mouthfeel and a lasting finish. I regret not offering to buy the rest of the bottle.

Like Wild Turkey turned up to 11! I'm a big fan of Wild Turkey, and this delivers everything one could possibly desire.

This one doesn't live up to the buzz. It was harsh and unpleasant.
