This was a complimentary drink from the bartender who also provided two Pappy Van Winkles and a Glenfiddich Winter Storm, and it was a good one, a bit standard but with some interesting notes. What's great about this dram is that all bottles are single barrel selections. Bottled at 45.5% abv. The aroma was actually something I hadn't encountered before: kiwi and starfruit (the fruit is called "carambola" in Spanish), sour notes, and prunes. Banana emerges after a couple of minutes, with fresh herbal vanilla. On the palate, it's salty, peppery, mango with salt (reminded me of a girl eating mango with salt on the school bus), with some smoke in the background but mostly salty. Overall, this dram deserves an 85 out of 100. I would recommend it as something a little different. Cheers!

Good taste. It seemed a little sweet, but not excessively so.
