The 10-year expression is significantly better and smoother. Surprisingly, it doesn't offer the expected smooth aged character. Spicy and just satisfactory.

About this bottle
Initially offered as a private label single barrel at various proofs, Lucky Thirteen is now a standard offering in Widow Jane's core product line. Straight bourbon whiskeys aged for 13 years in American oak barrels were selected, blended, and proofed using water from the limestone-rich Rosendale Mines in New York. Bottled at 93 proof, the Fall 2023 batch became available in late October 2023. (SRP $124.99)
