Widow Jane Decadence 10 Year (Fall 2024)

The maple aroma is immediate, with no harshness at all, either in scent or the initial taste. It's a pour that becomes sweeter as it airs and is quite aggressive over ice. This is the kind of pour you'll find yourself drinking more of than intended. It's not complex, and I opted for it over Booker's tonight. Worth opening and enjoying by a fire or outdoors in the evening. Honestly, it tastes like a slightly sweeter version of Weller Special Reserve, though I prefer the cinnamon notes in that one more.

A subtle maple note with a honey-like sweetness throughout. It's incredibly smooth from beginning to end. A bottle that's difficult to put down.
