Nose: intensely sweet with hints of sweet oak, maple, chocolate fudge, and molasses. Palate: exceptionally smooth; notes of oak, spice, and chocolate, leading to a prolonged, sweet maple syrup finish. Typically, an extended finish on some bourbons means evolving flavor notes; this, conversely, is merely a persistent essence of maple syrup and oak. Delightful and quite rich, as the name suggests. I had anticipated something akin to Penelope Rio, given this is a finished bourbon. However, Penelope Rio is delightful but nearly overwhelming with its honey flavor... I say nearly. This offering is not like that; it's more of a naturally sweet bourbon with clear notes of maple syrup, but maple syrup isn't the sole dominant flavor. A suitable comparison, in my view, would be a Woodford Double Oaked or an Eagle Rare aged in maple syrup barrels. An excellent pour.

The aroma is of molasses and caramel. The taste has notes of brown sugar, milk chocolate, and a mild cherry. The finish is similar, with a maple note appearing subtly right at the end. The more you drink it, the more the maple flavor emerges in the middle of the palate as well. A delicious spirit, though I wouldn't want to drink it daily.
Aroma: Sugary dark syrup and scorched sugar. Palate: Sweet, delicate taste, fluid, with notes of toasted maple and dark sugar. A maple characteristic is present. Nutty undertones. A swift conclusion, leaves a pleasant coating on the palate. A distinctive taste. certainly enjoyable.
A truly wonderful blend. Great maple sweetness, with pleasant undertones of vanilla, honey, and rich molasses. The aroma is divine. Enjoy it neat or in a Manhattan with black walnut bitters.
Very thick, very easy to drink, and not at all oaky. Sweet and rich with a medium finish.
A pleasant daily drinker with a fantastic maple finish!
