(2019 Release / Barrel #1993) An intense Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Daniel Prieto Preston in Brooklyn, New York. It spent 12 years aging in American oak, was cut to proof with limestone-filtered water from the Window Jane Mine, and bottled at 49.5% ABV. It starts richly with chocolate, vanilla, honey, and sweet corn. The warm middle phase adds oak, vanilla, rye spice, and pepper. It concludes with a long, minerally finish of chocolate, vanilla, and lemon peel. September 2019 / August 2022
