103 proof means a little warmth initially. The secondary notes are brown sugar, caramel, tobacco, leather, with a hint of vanilla and nuts. A rather lengthy finish presents more tobacco and leather. Quite enjoyable throughout and doesn't present as an immature bourbon; it's more intricate than anticipated. An incredible debut. The next batch is slated for December.

Batch 5, bottle 2694, at 53.4% ABV. The nose presents malt, cherries, plums, cinnamon, vanilla, oak, and caramel. The flavors echo the nose, with the addition of a subtle hint of Beefamato. It's lightly sweet with mild warmth in the finish. I find this superior to a prior version I experienced.
The aromas include caramel, nougat, brown sugar, toffee, and nuts. The flavors echo the nose, with the addition of some woodsy notes and rawhide. Perhaps a subtle hint of tobacco. Exceptionally smooth considering its strength. A gentle warmth lingers in the finish. Quite enjoyable, but not extraordinary.
It's got spice. High alcohol content. A multitude of flavors. Pleasant undertones.
