Rating: 6/23. Nose: Artificial, sweet vanilla and caramel, with an off-putting scent like artificial sweetener. Palate: Not bad, but not good. Starts with caramel and artificial sugar, followed by alcohol, a hint of citrus, and cherry. Drinkable, but the alcohol is prominent, tasting strongly of vodka. Finish: Confectioner's sugar coats the mouth, with lingering artificial flavor and a bit of caramel. Not awful, but not pleasant. It's not harsh and the sweetness is somewhat nice, but it's still problematic. Likely a 6 or 7, probably a 6.

The aroma is lightly sweet, artificial like corn syrup. The actual taste resembles that cheap caramel syrup, though it's not unpleasant. It's quite sugary. The alcohol is not noticeable currently, although my sense of taste is not optimal. In this state, it functions acceptably as a sweet liqueur with clear caramel notes. Some spice and rubber emerge eventually. It's not great as a caramel liqueur, but seems passable. I need to re-evaluate with a fresh palate. The rubber note is concerning, but the spice is okay. Compared directly now, the coffee Veil isn't as bad as I previously thought, but it's still not as good as this.

Satisfactory caramel flavor. Quite smooth.
