This is one of 149 bottles, indicating a single cask bottling. While I've enjoyed many TBWC releases recently, this one is a bit of a letdown. One might expect a single cask selection, especially at around $150 USD for 700ml, to be exceptional, but I actually preferred the Tamnavulin DC, which cost a third of the price (and I rated that a 4 for value). It's not bad, with a very sweet vanilla base, but it has a slightly ethanolic finish and not much else. I'd rate it between 3.25 and 3.5. Nevertheless, Tormore distillery is now checked off my list from my journey through Scotland's finest.
