Tomatin's 2006 Portuguese Collection: The Moscatel Edition is one of three whiskies in the series. All three were distilled on September 8, 2006, and matured in traditional Scotch whisky casks for eight years. Subsequently, they were transferred to unique Portuguese wine casks for finishing. This particular whisky was placed in Moscatel de Setúbal wine casks on April 23, 2015, and aged for an additional eight years before its bottling in May 2022. The release occurred worldwide in October 2022, with a suggested retail price of £90.
