About this bottle
One of three offerings in Tomatin's Portuguese Collection, the 2006 Portuguese Collection: The Madeira Edition, began with distillation on September 8, 2006. It then underwent eight years of aging in traditional Scotch whisky casks before being moved to Madeira wine casks for finishing. This transfer occurred on April 23, 2015, followed by an additional eight years of maturation prior to bottling in May 2022. This edition was released globally in October 2022 at a suggested retail price of £90.
