An intense, 20-year-old Tomatin single malt, finished in a Pedro Ximenéz cask & independently bottled by Ian Macleod for the Dun Bheagan range. This was distilled in October 1996 & bottled in 2017 with an outturn of only 539 bottles. It begins with an aromatic profile of Dundee cake, mince pie filling, hints of salted butter & vanilla pod; its rich development adds notes of Tobacco leaf, orange peel, sticky Sherry & porridge oats; concluding in a long & bold finish with notes of Shortbread with dried fruit & ginger.
