Amazing aroma on this bourbon, typical brown sugar, heavy corn syrup, baking spices. The palate is rich and viscous, syrup with a strong Kentucky embrace to finish. The aftertaste lingers for some time.
Bought at the distillery. We filled our own bottle using the thief from barrel #3. All the typical aromas are present, the flavors are great, and the finish provides a fairly long and intense warmth. A favorite!
A pleasant warmth that is consistent throughout, without being overwhelming.
Wonderful flavor and finish. The barrel strength expression is delicious.
A steep price but it's a worthwhile experience.
