About this bottle
The whisky underwent a "triple maturation in a five cask process". It was initially aged in European oak ex-sherry and refill American oak ex-bourbon barrels. Subsequently, it was transferred to ex-Pedro Ximénez and ex-Moscatel wine casks. The final stage involved marrying the whisky in European oak puncheons. Recent Singleton of Glen Ord releases have been primarily intended for Far Eastern markets. This bottling became available worldwide in limited quantities starting September 2018.
