The private casks Caol Ila 9

Another Private Cask selection! Often quite good! This one is a peated Caol Ila! On the nose, I detect an old basement, old books, campfire smoke, mint, and peach. On the palate, smoke is prominent initially, followed by that old basement 'flavor' – it's both bitter and sweet. Not my preferred Caol Ila, but still enjoyable.
