Spicy and full of flavor. I'm not entirely sure what I'm tasting, but it's good. It's a little sweet and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. It's not a typical rye I've had, though I haven't tried many cask-strength rye whiskies. It's a good one to try if you come across it!

Nose: cinnamon, musty warehouse, brown sugar, tobacco leaf, dark cherry Palate: peanut shell, strong baking spices, sweet vanilla. The mouthfeel is almost thin Finish: spicy holiday cider, intense cinnamon gum
Nose 4.5 / Palate 4.5 / Finish 4.5 = Total 4.5 Overall it's elevated. The 15 years of aging is evident on the nose and palate with a touch of oak character.
A very distinctive spicy aroma and unique mint on the palate.
