A whisky with an attractive scent of dark brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon, vanilla, caramel, and citrus. I consider it one of the best beginner sherry whiskies available. Personally, I found the nose more appealing than both GlenDronach and Macallan. The aroma's intensity is absolutely overwhelming. On the palate, the flavors largely match the nose and are very enjoyable, though there's a slight hollowness in the mid-palate (a minor issue). The finish isn't particularly long but leaves a pleasant lingering impression. A bottle I would definitely consider buying again. (4.25 points)
