About this bottle
The Creative Whisky Company's "Exclusive Malts" line features single cask bottlings sold at cask strength. David Stirk, the company's founder and a former writer for "Whisky Magazine," personally selects each cask for aging and subsequent bottling. He chose a single malt from Islay's Bowmore distillery, distilled in September 2001. It spent 12 years maturing in ex-sherry oak casks before being bottled in January 2014 at cask strength. Production was limited to 589 bottles.
