The Crossing Quadruple Malt

The smell is harsh, though it is fruity, almost like raisins. The taste is complex to me, but I detect a hint of fruit alongside a strong bite. Adding one drop of water softened the aroma and made it more oaky than raisiny, with a cinnamon flavor on the finish and a slightly reduced bite. With two drops, it became oakier with a peat/smoke scent. The texture was smooth and somewhat creamy with an underlying fruitiness.
