About this bottle
The Balvenie New Wood 17 Year is a Scotch composed of 79 whiskies, each aged for at least 17 years in used oak casks. Following their maturation, the whiskies were combined and finished for 4 months in virgin, charred American white oak barrels. This 2005 release was succeeded by The Balvenie "New Oak" the next year.
