Nose Despite being a Speyside, there are hints of medicinal iodine, often found in coastal whiskies. It also presents notes of leather polish, abundant honey, floral elements, ginger, and vanilla. Taste A sweet, viscous palate with ginger and honey. A touch of papaya fruitiness is present, but complexity is limited. The palate echoes the nose's funk, though less pronounced. A dry, peppery finish.

The aroma has iodine, honey, and vanilla, an unusual mix. Palate features smoke, spice, and a peculiar "funk" I can't quite identify? Perhaps mixed fruits? Finish is brief with spice and wood. An intriguing dram. Following a pleasant aroma, it's a bit of a letdown.
A potent alcoholic sensation hits first, transitioning into a peppery flavor with a subtle orange note. It leaves an unusual herbal aftertaste and a lingering warmth at the back of the throat. It's a bit too sharp for my preference.
Aroma of honey and the smell of rain on dry earth, spicy, honeyed, sweet, clean taste, not very full-bodied. The long finish has spice.
