Teeling Single Pot Still Cask Strength Single Barrel Sellect Irish Whiskey

Fall 2022 Release An intense Irish Whiskey created by Master Distiller, Alex Chasko for Teeling Distillery in Dublin, Ireland. The mash bill consists of 50% malted and 50% unmalted barley. It is triple-distilled and then aged in a mix of American virgin oak, ex-bourbon, and ex-sherry casks. Finally, it is bottled at 55% ABV without chill filtration. It presents an aromatic beginning with notes of grain, wood, cooked orchard fruits, herbs, and spices. A rich and spicy character adds notes of toasted barley, salted caramel, red apple, sherry, marshmallows, apricot yogurt, and banana milkshake. This leads to a well-balanced finish of medium length with notes of milk chocolate latte, spearmint, leather, oak, and winter spices. March 2023
