The aroma is appealing - prominent caramel, honey, fresh bread, and almonds. A faint trace of cigarette ash. This pleasing scent makes the initial taste even more disappointing. It's like consuming violet candies and then drinking cheap perfume. There's no real progression; the perfume flavor just intensifies. The lingering aftertaste is extended, and yes - it's that distinct perfume taste that remains unpleasantly. I usually appreciate unconventional and distinctive malts, but I'm unable to enjoy this one. Perhaps it could serve as an aftershave.
