About this bottle

Still Austin Double Barreled Bourbon is part of the brand's Distillery Reserve series. This high-rye bourbon features rye grain sourced from Texas. Portions from six barrels of this high-rye bourbon were chosen, blended, and then placed into a freshly charred oak barrel for finishing. The bourbon's total aging period reached 3 years. Production was limited to 200 bottles. An online lottery for purchase began March 25, 2021, with winners announced on April 1, 2021.

What a delightful surprise, from the captivating artwork and accompanying 3D glasses to the remarkably intricate tasting notes. Immediately, I'm enjoying the smooth vanilla that transitions into toasted almonds and beautiful caramelization. She was clearly impressed with her second encounter with craft whiskey and is now thoroughly engaged. The lingering finish offers a unique warm chocolate. I'm also captivated. Today we experienced an exceptionally warm spring day, which this double-barreled bourbon only enhanced, making it even more pleasant and inviting. Its dazzling finish leaves me wanting more! My gratitude to the Still Austin Crew; you've truly excelled. Definitely keep this bottle!
