About this bottle
Starlight Distillery in Borden, Indiana, produces the limited release Toasted Barrel bourbon using estate-grown grains from its 700-acre farm. This blend uses two mash bills: a three-grain (60% corn, 20% rye, 20% malted barley) and a four-grain (51% corn, 20% rye, 20% malted barley, 9% wheat). Both mash bills are double distilled in a Vendome copper pot still with a sweet mash process, then aged for at least 4.5 years in new charred American oak barrels. The bourbon is finished for six months in a mix of toasted American, French, and Hungarian oak casks and bottled non-chill filtered at 106 proof.
