Nose: Initially greeted by cinnamon and clove spice, followed closely by orange marmalade, baked peach, and marzipan. It finishes with warm woody notes, vanilla, and coconut. A sour undertone, likely from a young spirit, was not to my liking. Palate: Certainly spicy, with a noticeable bite without water. The flavors develop rapidly, revealing underlying spice, dry dark fruits, and dark chocolate, not overly sweet. The finish is dry and rather short, feeling somewhat thin. Adding water significantly improved it, taming the spirit and bringing forward toffee sweetness and fruit. The oakiness and acidity subsided, and the finish became even more chocolatey. Overall: A decent spirit. It felt slightly unbalanced to me, perhaps not tailored to my palate. It's a well-crafted spirit, recommended for those who enjoy a bold and spicy profile.
