Southern Shine Moonshine

This is unaged corn whiskey - it's labeled as "moonshine" but is legally produced corn liquor. The aroma is very strong, with the alcohol dominating a faint sweetness. There's also a subtle sweetness on the palate, lacking any specific flavor, and a noticeable alcohol burn that numbs my gums. The finish is unremarkable, with a persistent burn from the alcohol. While not terrible, if white whisky is generally just pure alcohol without much character, this is a poor example of the category.
