Color: Resembles Pilsner. Aroma: Smells of candle wax and damp, sweet autumn leaves. Also notes of drying honey and fresh grass clippings. Taste: Oily mouthfeel and a dry, herbaceous character. Tastes of sweet, flaky pastries – like a crumbly scone or croissant, or even buttered French toast. Finish: Bourbon-like cinnamon and vanilla with a subtle spicy element. Hints of horseradish, or perhaps wasabi. Diluted: The aroma becomes more floral and malty. The taste has cereal grains with a burst of sweet molasses. The finish remains spicy with a pleasant, mellow oakiness.
