Light straw color. Smells like untoasted marshmallows with a fresh flower garden. Some lemon-like citrus, reminiscent of lemon tarts or key lime pie. On the tongue: Tastes of cake icing, marmalade, and fresh grass. An oily mouthfeel with abundant sweetness and candied fruit. Subtle notes of brown sugar and cinnamon follow – intensely sweet. Finish: Some oak presence, with a surprising warmth. The finish is dry, lacking the fruit or much of the sweetness. With water added: The floral aroma is enhanced. It becomes richer too, with stronger fruit notes. The palate remains sweet, but the spices are more apparent, like a frosted cinnamon roll. The finish is not very pronounced.
