Aida Long 3.8

Color: Wet hay Nose: Classic brine. Ocean spray over tidal pools. Pickled peppers on the beach. Palate: Cracked pepper and ripe vanilla extract. Ashes from a doused campfire sprinkled with sea salt. Muted sweetness at the beginning, followed by smoky and savory notes towards the end. Finish: Salt and pepper! Not much wood influence, just the character of peated malt. Diluted: The smoke is more pronounced on the nose, but it's acrid and sharp. The palate is smoother and less intense, with a touch of honey and some of that classic smoke (though less). The finish is also sweeter and gentler.
