Cindy Tavares 4.5

Color: Bright gold (or orange wine) Nose: Smells of sea smoke and candied apples. Rich wood fire mingled with a creamy sweetness. Palate: The sherry is more prominent on the palate, starting dry and nutty, then progressing with a sharp smokiness. It's like smoked sweet fish with a fruity glaze, or a robust aromatic wood fire. Finish: A very rich, lingering finish. The youth is apparent with burnt, bitter peat at the end, but it's powerful and lasts. With water: The wood smoke is rounder and fuller, with some sweet citrus notes too. The palate becomes much sweeter, with strong honey flavors alongside the smoke. The finish still has a spicy kick.
