About this bottle
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) released this single malt, single cask bottling as part of their "Lightly Peated" selection. Distilled in July 2006, it aged for 11 years in a refill hogshead before being bottled at cask strength, 57.8% ABV. Consistent with all SMWS bottlings, it is non-chillfiltered. This release was part of the celebration for the 2018 Fèis Ìle (Islay Festival), being one of three bottles created for the event.
