Nose is deep and rich caramel with hints of molasses, nutty dark chocolate, slight coffee. An early corn / earthy note is also present – almost like granola Palate is as rich as the nose. All these dark flavors from the nose, but with a much more pronounced molasses sweetness. Moving towards the finish, there's a subtle smokiness that transitions into a somewhat woody off-flavor on the finish…quite minor though, just slightly over-oaked. A pleasant warmth emerges on the finish that develops into a dark caramel finish that lingers. Very good overall, but I don't think it lives up to the hype. T8ke: 7.4

Aroma - butterscotch and vanilla are the initial scents I detect. Cake notes also appear. The alcohol content is evident. It has a peculiar oak profile that I'm undecided about… it's distinctive Taste - a pleasant transition to the palate. I'm getting the butterscotch and vanilla. The oak presence is nice. As it opens up, a really pleasant toasted marshmallow note begins to emerge. A slightly dry sensation in the finish Overall - it's good. Sweet, rich, and bold. Excellent viscosity. Great value. It definitely requires slow sipping as it is quite potent and the proof is noticeable. 4.6

NEAT NOSE - Blueberries, Oak, Caramel, and Vanilla PALATE - Rich, warm, and chewy mouthfeel with thick, rich caramel-coated berries. The oak is more of a secondary note. FINISH - Long finish. Vanilla and something slightly unpleasant that I cannot identify. It is most noticeable when exhaling. Fortunately, it is not overly dominant. BUY? - Definitely. BUY AGAIN? - Absolutely.

This is excellent! It reportedly outperformed George T. Stagg in a blind taste test at the ASCOT awards this year. Fortunately, I have both and conducted a direct comparison. This whiskey is far superior, with a noticeable youthful vibrancy on the finish. It's rich and sweet initially, with hints of corn and vanilla. It justifies its price point.

Fantastic bottle. After hearing positive buzz, I found one and it lives up to the hype. It's a bit sweet but offers complex flavors, possibly maple and vanilla, maybe some strawberry. It's difficult to pinpoint exactly but it's very good.
