Strong. A whiskey with a kick. It reaches the roof of your mouth but finishes smoothly. Doesn't have much viscosity in the glass. Nice color for an 8-year-old bourbon. Nutty and caramel, with a touch of sugar. It's an acceptable bourbon for sipping, but as an overproof bourbon, caution is advised.
