Wow, this is intensely sweet! Too sweet for my liking. I enjoy the pecan flavor, but it's remarkably potent! It would pair wonderfully with pancakes or waffles, making it an ideal choice if you're seeking a hearty breakfast drink. I mixed it with approximately 2,000 ml of Buffalo Trace, which successfully toned it down.
A fantastic whiskey for taking shots! The pecan flavor and smooth character put this on my exclusive list of whiskeys suitable for shooting. It's very easy to drink straight or with ice by itself. Well done, Revel Stoke.
It's hard to compare this to unflavored spirits. It's incredibly sweet. An easy sipper, but I'd only have one. I'd love to pour it over some quality vanilla ice cream.
