Reservoir Holland's Blade Rummer

Quite young and fiery, but it mellowed after resting in the glass. It offered pleasant notes of caramel, maple, and vanilla, with a medium-length finish. The cost was too high, but I'm glad to have tried it.

So, this was aged for two years in bourbon barrels and then 12 months in a rum cask. Overall, a young bourbon but still flavorful. It's from a small distillery.

I'm surprised this doesn't have more reviews. It's very good, with plenty of pleasant vanilla and caramel flavors.
