Redwood Empire Haystack Needle

Despite its 117 proof, it doesn't offer a wide range of flavors. I diluted it slightly to see if water would enhance or reveal more tasting notes. However, dilution did not introduce any additional flavors. The finish is medium to long, but I suspect this is more due to the high proof than the bourbon itself.

This is a truly awful whiskey. The internet is so positive about this distillery that it makes me wonder if they pay for good reviews.
