Redwood Empire Distilling in Graton, California, located in Sonoma County's Russian River Valley, presents Grizzly Beast, a Bottled-in-Bond bourbon from Batch 5. This limited release comes from a single distilling season, having been distilled in spring 2020 and bottled in August 2025. Batch 5 features a four-grain mash bill consisting of 67% corn, 17% rye, 10% wheat, and 6% malted barley. It was aged in Northern California's temperate coastal climate and is bottled at 100 proof. Redwood Empire plants a tree for every bottle sold through its collaboration with Trees for the Future.
