In November 2019, Irish Distillers introduced four small batch, cask strength versions of their Redbreast Single Pot Still brand. Each of these, aged for 14 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry casks with varied barrel compositions, is bottled at 58.6% ABV. Limited distribution to San Diego, San Francisco, and Boston, with only 252 bottles per batch.

More herbal than typical Redbreast. Red apple and vanilla notes are prominent. A lovely creamy mouthfeel. Peppery finish, with much more bourbon influence than sherry.
I'm not a fan of cask strength. The flavor is nice, but it's too potent for me to appreciate.
