About this bottle
Master Blender Dave McCabe created the Redbreast Moscatel Wine Cask Edition, which is the fifth in the brand's Iberian Series. Standard Redbreast maturation involves ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The Iberian Series is notable for using specially selected sherry-seasoned casks for finishing. For this particular edition, European oak hogsheads that were seasoned with Moscatel wine from Málaga's Bodegas Quitapenas were transported to Midleton. There, the single pot still whiskey underwent a 16-month finishing period in these casks. It becomes available in February 2026. (Suggested Retail Price $109.99)
