Distinct from the rest of the Redbreast lineup. It brought to mind those stories about old, lively, crackling pot still whiskeys. It has a gingery quality and tastes like popping cola candy.
Gentle on the nose with light wood and figs. Spicy cinnamon at the start which fades to a subtle dark berry note. Leaves a light caramel-like taste on the back of my palate.
